How to Press Soybean Oil By Screw Oil Press?


Soybean belongs to low oil crop, and the content of soybean oil is 11%-20%.  In general, the moisture content of soybean is 13%-14%. Before oil extraction, screen is used to remove impurities. Oil extraction methods include hot pressing and cold pressing.

1.Hot Pressing


Technological process: soybean-cleaning-fraction(Roughing)-soften-flaking-cooking-pressing

2.Cold Pressing

Artificial inspection method for moisture content of soybean during cold pressing:

3.The Problem of Pressing Soybean in Screw Press

The use of screw press to press the soybean oil, regardless of cold pressing or hot pressing, due to improper operation or oil moisture content adjustment is not appropriate, there will be different problems.


A.The phenomenon of slag formation during pressing:
Spiral oil press, in the crushing of oil, if a small amount of slag running phenomenon, also belong to the normal phenomenon (run slag allowed up to 5%). If you run a large amount of slag, you need to adjust. From the perspective of oil, oil containing water properly, too dry or too wet, can run slag, oil is too wet, a row of running check for sheet, the cake is soft hand grip into ball shape, with white foam oil flow. If oil is too dry, ran a row of slag powder, white cake into a powder, which impeded the flow of oil, squeeze-bore gap should be less.
